I get up holding my limp waist and curse Frances Louis secretly.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou teddy dog! I curse you for impotency.\u201d<\/p>\n
The bathroom door is pulled open with a clatter. Frances Louis stands there with a towel on his lower body, looking at me half-squinted.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat did you say?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNothing! I was wondering what you have eaten because you are so energetic.\u201d I laugh a hollow laugh, and prevaricate quickly.<\/p>\n
