He shut me down immediately, and my rebellious streak flared up at once. I lifted my chin and complained to him.<\/p>\n
“Ever since I got pregnant, I haven’t had drinks, coffee, or tea at all. Do you know how miserable it is to watch my coworkers order coffee every afternoon? It’s just one ice cream, and you still won’t let me have it. You really do love the baby more than me.”<\/p>\n
Luis’s tone softened instantly. “Piggy, can we be fair? I love the baby because I love you.”<\/p>\n
“Then are you letting me eat it or not?”<\/p>\n
