**Chapter 197: Majority Shareholder**

In the dimly lit office, the air was thick with tension as Philip never anticipated that Deanna would stride in and confront him so boldly. His expression contorted into a mask of fury, the corners of his mouth twisting downward as he struggled to contain his anger.

“Deanna, this is a matter strictly between your mother and me. I suggest you stay out of it!” he barked, his voice echoing off the polished walls.

Deanna’s response was sharp and unyielding. “I don’t want to be involved,” she shot back, her eyes blazing with indignation. “I came here to witness the two of you for what you truly are—a deceitful couple.”

The audacity of her words struck Philip like a physical blow, and he felt a surge of indignation. “I’m still your father!” he retorted, his voice rising in exasperation. “You should show some respect. At the very least, greet her with some courtesy.”

Deanna almost laughed at the absurdity of his demand, a bitter chuckle escaping her lips. “You’re not my dad anymore,” she declared, her tone laced with defiance.

Philip’s chest heaved as he took a deep breath, his temper igniting like dry kindling. Memories flooded his mind—how he had once pleaded with Deanna to introduce him to the elders of the Mooncrown Pack. But she had turned a deaf ear to his requests, time and again challenging his authority as Alpha, her defiance infuriating him further.

When she had refused to comply, he had taken matters into his own hands, visiting the Mooncrown Pack himself, only to be met with the shocking realization that they did not even recognize her as Luis’s girlfriend. That moment had been pivotal; it was then he understood that Deanna had outlived her usefulness. If she was no longer an asset, he felt no obligation to feign concern for her.

“Deanna,” he said, his voice dripping with condescension, “I still consider you my daughter. If you behave yourself, I can still arrange a suitable match for you—someone who is worthy of your status. You will always be the princess of Mistbane Pack.”

Deanna’s expression hardened into a cold smirk. “I couldn’t care less about that,” she replied, her voice steady yet laced with contempt.

Then, with a calculated calmness, she continued, “But are you absolutely certain you still hold the title of CEO of Mistbane Group?”

Her words hung in the air like a storm cloud. “As the largest shareholder of Mistbane Group, I now possess the authority to remove you from your position,” she declared, tossing a document onto his desk with a flourish.

Philip’s face darkened as he picked up the file, his expression rigid with disbelief. As he flipped through the pages, his eyes widened in shock. “How did you come by this? You only owned 30% of the shares!” he exclaimed, slamming the papers back onto the desk as if they were a venomous snake. “Deanna, don’t tell me you forged this!”

Her demeanor remained unyielding, a mask of calmness. “When did I ever claim it was fake?” she replied coolly.

A wave of realization washed over Philip, freezing him in place. His mind raced back to weeks prior when he had mortgaged 30% of his own shares to finance a significant expansion project, intending to buy them back once the profits rolled in. But how had those shares ended up in Deanna’s hands? The thought ignited a blaze of fury within him. In a fit of rage, he seized the glass ashtray from his desk and hurled it at her, his anger boiling over.

Deanna instinctively sidestepped, the ashtray shattering against the wall, shards of glass scattering across the floor like fallen stars.

Deanna, unperturbed by his outburst, calmly made a phone call, her demeanor unshakeable. When she hung up, she locked eyes with him, a steely resolve in her gaze.

“I came here to remove you and your father from Mistbane Group. Permanently,” she stated, her voice unwavering.

Desmond’s face contorted with rage. “Deanna, have you completely lost your mind? You can’t take over Mistbane Group! Don’t even think about it!” he shouted, incredulity lacing his tone.

Just then, a sharp knock sounded at the door, interrupting the escalating confrontation.

Vesper Loftus, the legal counsel of Mistbane Group, stepped inside, surveying the wreckage of the office with a practiced calm.

Deanna had already ensured that the documents were notarized before her arrival, a meticulous plan in motion.

Vesper turned to Philip and Desmond, his expression serious. “Alpha. Mr. Desmond,” he addressed them formally, “Ms. Wiley is indeed now the majority shareholder of Mistbane Group. She possesses full legal authority to remove both of you from your positions.”

["post-2280","chapter","type-chapter","status-publish","hentry
["GET
