Kathy looked at him. She had known Joseph for a long time and she knew that he never compromised easily. Joseph must have his plan for the research and development project.<\/p>\n
“Reece is in charge of this project now. So I can see him every day,” said she gently.<\/p>\n
She didn’t want to do so. All she could do was to keep a distance from Reece.<\/p>\n
“Tell me if there’re any problems. OK?”<\/p>\n
“OK.” With a smile, Kathy looked at his handsome face and lowered her head to kiss him.<\/p>\n
She felt so good to have Joseph by her side.<\/p>\n
After breakfast, Joseph drove her to school. However, when she got out of the car, Reece was just walking towards them.<\/p>\n
In front of the car, Reece passed by. He turned his head slightly and met Joseph’s cold gaze.<\/p>\n
He stopped, with his thin lips curved.<\/p>\n
Joseph held the steering wheel tightly.<\/p>\n
After Reece crossed the road, Joseph stepped on the accelerator and drove away quickly.<\/p>\n
“You and Joseph made up, have you?” Reece caught up with Kathy.<\/p>\n
“We’re always good,” Kathy said coldly.<\/p>\n
“Is that so?” Reece said with an ambiguous expression.<\/p>\n
Kathy entered the research laboratory first. Reece went to his office and learned the news from his subordinates, his face gloomy.<\/p>\n
“Where is he?”<\/p>\n
Kathy didn’t finish her work until the evening when Reece came to the research laboratory.<\/p>\n
“This is today’s research report.” Kathy handed him the reports handed over by the other students.<\/p>\n

Reece slowly clenched his fists, putting on a terrible face which frightened Kathy to subconsciously retreated.<\/p>\n
Reece’s expression softened when he saw the fear in her eyes.<\/p>\n
“Kathy, tell me, why are you afraid of me?” Reece walked closer to her.<\/p>\n
As he took a step closer, Kathy took two steps back.<\/p>\n
“If you don’t answer, I won’t let you go.” Reece narrowed his eyes coldly.<\/p>\n
Kathy bit her lips. She looked at Reece and slowly said, “Reece, you’ve gone too far.”<\/p>\n
“Really?” Reece frowned, as if he was seriously thinking about her words.<\/p>\n
“Can we keep a distance?” Kathy asked quietly.<\/p>\n
She felt very stressful to stay with Reece.<\/p>\n
She knew that Reece was chasing after her, but she would not accept his love, so she didn’t want to face him.<\/p>\n
